A Totem Coffee Service by Susan Williams-Ellis for Port Meirion Pottery

This is an Amber Totem coffee service by Susan William-Ellis for Port Meirion Pottery.  This is possibly one of the most iconic designs by Susan Williams-Ellis and was launched in 1963.  This design (Totem) is on display in museums both in the UK and Internationally and was produced in a number of colours including Amber, Olive Green, Sage Green and Blue amongst others.

The Coffee service includes 1 Totem Coffee Pot, Creamer, Sugar Bowl and 6 Coffee Cups and Saucers and is in overall excellent condition.  The handle on one coffee cup has been expertly restored and there is a chip on the bottom of one of the coffee cups.  There is also the usual stilt marks where the saucers have been stacked for firing – please see all photos.
