This is a stunning 19th Century (1880/1890) French Ebony and Brass Circular Casket / Box, the hinged cover is inlaid with enamel and sits on four feet with engraving around all the sides and has a pale silk lining inside. It is signed on the interior brass plate which, we believe to be “Maison Gouche, Boulevard de la Madeleine, Paris”.
