A Beautiful and ornate Brass Inkstand with double covered fixed inkwells.
The Inkstand features Fleur-de-lis type top on the handle and ends with shell motif and molded ornate side handles on a large rectangular tray with two lidded fixed inkwells. The inkstand is in overall excellent condition with some aged patina.
It has a large bottom tray which is richly decorated in an ornate embossed design (see photos)
